Chris Summers
Cafe Manager at Sweet Surrender

Born: August 5, 1984
Sign: Leo
Hometown: New Albany, IN
High School: New Albany H.S.
Residence:
Highlands
Job: Cafe Manager at
Sweet Surrender for 2 years.
Dreams and Aspirations:
To have a career as a
female impersonator.
"I want to end up in
New York. "

Chris is new to performing
as a female impersonator,
has won 4th place in the
Miss Kentucky Newcomer
competition, and currently performs every Thursday
night at Connections.
"I can use everything I
learned in theater. I do
my own hair and makeup...
I learned a lot from others."

Chris hardly watches TV, but his
stage name, Trista Ray, was
inspired by the
star of
'The Bachelorette' reality
show, Trista Wren.
"Trista cried every time she
dumped a guy, but the men
on 'The Bachelor' didn't
seem to care."

Chris loves every aspect of theater and was very involved in theater in
High School.
"N.A.H.S. has a great
theater program."

Chris performs songs and
dresses as characters from Broadway musicals in
his shows. His favorite
musical is Chicago and
he was thrilled to see
Eric McCormick, of
Will and Grace
fame,
on Broadway in
'The Music Man'.
"I'm not portraying these
characters... I'm
channeling them."

Chris is spiritual in general,
but does not practice any specific religion.
"Karma is a bitch and
she will get you."

Chris is very close to his
mom, sister, and two nephews. He goes to
Cumberland Brews
every Sunday with mom to
"wind down with a
glass of wine."
